How waterproof is paperspot?
Paperspot is guaranteed to be 100% waterproof. We use military grade polyester with a hydrostatic rating of 20,000.
All our seams are taped and all zips are covered. We also use a rain peak and adjustable cuffs to keep the water out.
What is a 20,000 Waterproof Rating?
The rating you see on fabrics and gear, such as "20,000mm," refers to the material's "hydrostatic head." This measurement indicates how waterproof the fabric is. During testing, a piece of the fabric is laid flat, and a one-inch diameter tube is placed upright on top. Water is gradually added to the tube, increasing both its weight and the pressure on the fabric. A 20,000mm rating means the fabric can withstand a column of water 20,000mm tall without leaking. The Paperspot coat excels in this test, offering exceptional waterproofing while remaining lightweight and packable. It’s designed to handle heavy storms, keeping you dry and comfortable.

Yes Paperspot is very breathable and has a high rating of 10,000g/m².
Is Paperspot Warm?
Yes Paperspot is designed to be exceptionally warm. We uses the highest quality Shantoosh fleece for warmth and a microfibre fleece around the neck for maximum comfort.
What it is the Paperspot made of?
The Paperspot exterio is crafted from 100% polyester ripstop fabric, delivering exceptional durability and reliable waterproof protection. The inside uses a premium Shantoosh fleece for maximum warmth.
What does the 2.5 Layer feature mean?
The 2.5-layer feature refers to the construction of the coat. The first layer is a durable outer fabric. The second layer is a waterproof coating applied to the inside of the outer layer. The "half" layer is a protective layer that's sprayed on, enhancing the jacket's water repellency. This construction makes the coat lightweight, flexible, and highly effective at keeping you dry.
How do I choose my size?
The Paperspot is designed to be oversized to offer you movement and flexibility while fishing. For example if you normally wear a XXL T-Shirt the XL Paperspot will be plenty big enough.
If you would like the coat be be more fitted we suggest
dropping down a size.
Can I adjust the fit of the Paperspot?
Yes, the coat features an adjustable hood and cuffs.
How many pockets does Ppaperspot have?
Paperspot has two waterproof exterior waist pockets with pulleys and one interior chest pocket.
how do I care for my paperspot?
Paperspot is completely machine washable.
- Machine washable at 30°C.
- Do not use fabric softener.
- Before washing ensure all zips are fastened.
- Tumble dry on low or allow to dry naturally.
- Re-waterproof with Nikwax after six washes.
